Havna Hotel & Sjøbad has made the classic Afternoon Tea tradition its own. In the beautiful surroundings overlooking the sea, we serve a complete Afternoon Tea honouring the very best of the British tea party, adapted with Norwegian flavours and local ingredients.

This is an experience for all the senses — beautifully presented on traditional tiered dishes, with fragrant tea, warm scones, delicate baked goods and sweet temptations. A perfect way to mark an occasion, or simply enjoy a calm afternoon.

Tea in a class of its own

A rich selection of teas from the world's best tea plantations, served by the French tea house Palais des Thés. Served hot throughout the tea party.

Scones and Appetisers

Freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam, along with a selection of elegant finger sandwiches.

Sweet Temptations

Handmade chocolate truffles, cake slices, fruit tartlets and other sweet treats from our pastry kitchen.

A class of its own

Tea by the Sea is served in the hotel's beautiful salon, with comfortable chairs, soft music and panoramic views of the sea. The interior is an elegant blend of historic charm and modern comfort.

In the summer, you can also enjoy your tea outside on the terrace, with the sea breeze and the sound of the waves clucking by the dock. It is the perfect setting for long conversations with good friends and a little extra luxury in your everyday life.

Tea by the Sea is served on selected days from 1pm – 4pm. Advance booking is highly recommended.
