We know that you could never think to leave your four-legged family members behind when traveling. That's why dogs are very welcome at Havna Hotel & Sjøbad. With the archipelago as a playground and nice hiking trails right outside the door, Tjøme is a perfect destination for you and your dog.

We have separate pet-friendly rooms that are designed for guests with dogs, so the whole family can enjoy a relaxing stay by the sea together.

Rules and guidelines

General

Maximum 1 dog per room/unit
The dog must be announced to the reception upon booking
An additional cost will be added to the room price upon booking
The owner is responsible for any damages

Inside the hotel

The dog should not be left alone in the room
Respect the noise level in consideration of your fellow visitors
Dogs are welcome in the restaurant inside and outside on the terrace
Dogs are kept on a leash in common areas
No access to Havna Bad
Schedule desired room cleaning times with the reception upon arrival

Outdoors

Dogs must be kept on a leash in the hotel area
Always pick up after the dog

On departure

Report any accidents
Check that nothing has been forgotten

We have a selection of rooms on the ground floor that are specially designed for guests with dogs. These rooms have direct access to the garden, making your morning walk an easy task.

Service dogs are an exception to the rule. Please be advised by our reception.

The Coastal Path

Beautiful coastal hiking trail that starts right by the hotel. Great for morning and evening walks with your dog. Approx. 5 km round trip along the sea.

Moutmarka

The hiking gem of the island, with rugged terrain through forest, fields, pebbles and open rocky cliffs. Varied hiking trails for short and long walks with your dog.

The End of the World

Experience the coastal landscape and the view of the sea. Your dog will love the sea breeze and running across the smooth svaberg rocks. Swim from the rock formations when you need a cool down.
