Torås Fort is a decommissioned coastal fort which currently serve as Vestfold's largest intact war memorial from World War II. Visit the museum for guided tours and see barracks and cannons built into the rocky cliffs.
The Visitor Centre is located right next to the iconic Tilting Tower at The Worlds End. Here, you can book guided tours discovering exciting cultural history that dates back thousands of years.

Bruddet is an old quarry site at Tjøme which has been converted into an open-air concert venue. Here you will find musical performances and other entertainment throughout the summer months.
Moutmarka is located within Færder National Park and forms the mainland section of the park. It features beautiful marked hiking trails through flora, fauna and scenic rocky shores right down to the sea.
The rocky shores at The Worlds End are a spectacular sight. Facing south, you look straight out towards the Skagerrak and can glimpse Sweden and Denmark in the distance on a clear day.
Færder is known for its beautiful archipelago. Several operators offer boat trips, and seasonal scheduled boats take you out to islands such as Færder Lighthouse and Bolærne.
Aktiv Fritid rents out bicycles for young and old. The bikes are parked at the Havna Tjøme Hotel car park and must be reserved one day in advance. There is also the option to book guided cycling tours for small and large groups.
Aktiv Fritid has created an adventure park between tall rocky cliffs. Here the whole family can enjoy ladders, zip-lines, rope bridges and more. Individuals and groups are welcome.
Experience a truly unique Via Ferrata course at Aktiv Fritid where you traverse rocky cliffs with stunning views over Røssesundet and Hvasserøya. Complete the session with a rappel down the cliff edge.
Tjøme Golf Club has a charming parkland course surrounded by magnificent oak trees. The course is the only Nordic Double Nine course, giving you the experience of 18 varied holes. Beginner lessons with an instructor are available.

In Tjøme centre you will find the award-winning Tjøme Kolonial with exquisite goods and dishes, and the lively pink food truck Jasmine's Merienda offers sushi and other Asian food to go. At Ormelet you can find delicious baked goods from Nøtterø Bakeri.
By Tjøme Golf Course you will find Kafé Rosso serving authentic Italian baked goods in summer, and if you prefer traditional Norwegian baked goods you will find Nøtterø Bakeri in Tjøme centre.
Pour is an atmospheric café and wine bar in Tjøme centre. The venue is run by a well-trained sommelier, who often has wonderful events on the calendar.
At Skafferiet in Tjøme centre, you are served baked goods in the same space as a lovely interior and clothing boutique for women. On the same street, Ioánna Concept Store sells women's clothing from Greece, from everyday wear to wedding dresses.
Engler og Pirater in Tjøme centre is a charming shop for children, selling clothes and other accessories.
Swim from the outer rocky shores and islets, and look straight out towards the Kattegat. A dedicated child-friendly bathing area and a bathing ramp for those with reduced mobility are available.
At Mostranda camping there are two medium-sized and one small sandy beach for the whole family. There are great swimming opportunities from smooth rocky shores, where you will also find a 1.5m diving board.
