The piano bar at Havna Hotel & Sjøbad is where the evening develops its very own playlist. In the corner of the restaurant, with dim lighting, moments are created which make an unforgettable visit.

Our musicians play everything from classic standard songs and jazz, to Scandinavian favourites and requests from the audience. With evenings containing of tasty drinks, quality entertainment and good company, time seem to disappear — and that's exactly what it's meant to do.

Live music

Talented musicians set the mood with a repertoire ranging from jazz and blues, to pop and Scandinavian classics. Requests are welcome.

Great drinks

Enjoy our signature cocktails, a glass of sparkling wine or choose from a carefully curated selection of spirits, wines and beers.

Intimate atmosphere

The bar's comfy sofas, small seating areas around the fireplace and subdued lighting create an atmosphere that is as warm as it is sophisticated. Bar stools placed around the piano welcome you to a pleasant musical evening side by side with the musician.

Where the notes gleam across the sea

There is something magical about sitting in a comfortable chair listening to live piano music, whilst the sea sparkles in time with the notes. Maybe you are sitting inside on a winter evening overlooking the ice-covered sea, maybe you are enjoying the evening's last meal on a summer evening under the open sky, or hear the music from your boat at the docks. The piano bar is our tribute to the good moments — those that occur when the pace, place and company are just right.

Music is the sounds between the silence, and it is here by the sea that both have room to breathe.

The Evening

Enjoy a night with piano bar

Find a free seat on one of the deep sofas, at a high table or at the bar. Order something good to drink and let the music guide the evening.

The musicians often start with subdued tones which increase throughout the evening. Towards the end of the night the atmosphere is at its peak, and sometimes the guests sing and dance along to the tunes.

There is no entrance fee or dress code, and there are no expectations other than ensuring you have a good time.

Entertainers of the evening

Our artists

Our partner is the Swedish-based company CMC Music, which house a roster of established musicians. The artists have professional backgrounds as former band members, songwriters, singing instructor and wedding singers, and have worked in TV productions and backed up recording artists on several occasions.

Havna Hotel & Sjøbad appreciates quality music, and the music from CMC Music is of the highest quality.

Program

When the piano bar is open

The piano bar offers live music on selected evenings throughout the year. We recommend arriving early to the venue to secure a good seat. Reserve a table in the restaurant's indoor and outdoor seating, or be first-come, first-served for seats at the bar and around the piano.

Tea by the Sea

On selected Saturdays, Havna Hotel & Sjøbad organises Afternoon Tea on the restaurant premises. Enjoy good music to the good tastes of fresh baked goods and quality tea. See our calendar for the next event.

Special occasions

During high season and on special occasions, we offer live piano music on selected days. Follow the calendar for planned performance days.

During high season

During the summer holidays, there is an extended program with live music played several days a week. We arrange pleasant, long summer evenings by the docks, and as long as the weather permits music will be performed outdoors. Follow the calendar for planned performance days.

Private events

The piano bar can also be booked for private parties and events. Contact us for requests and prices.
