A volleyball net put up on the grass lawn behind Hvile Beach during the summer season. Play with your own ball, or rent one from the hotel reception.
Take a dip in the bathhouse's esquisite pool. Enjoy the sun in the glass house and on the sun loungers on the terrace outside.
Tjøme's coastal hiking path "Kyststien" starts from the grassy lawn behind Hvile Beach. Discover the island's beautiful flora and fauna at your own pace, and take a memorable break on the smooth shore rocks along the sea.
Our private beach is located south of the hotel building and the boat docks. The beach is shallow and accommodates bathing for all ages. A handful of sun loungers are set out on the beach for your guests to enjoy during the summer season. The beds are given out on a first come, first served basis.
The company Kajakkbox rents out kayaks and kayak equipment from for a great seaside venture. You will find the kayak trailer with boat and equipment right next to Landhandleriet. For guided kayak tours and courses, please see our calendar.
In the summer there are good opportunities for beach crab fishing at the piers and at Hvile Beach. We sell buckets, hooves and skeins at the General Store.
Take your Norwegian nature experience to the next level with a health-boosting ice bath. There are suitable bathing opportunities around the ladders on the piers.
